I have D for playstation in my "watched" items on eBay. I have never played it, but a long time ago I was watching someone play it and it seemed like my kind of game - survival horror. I can't for the life of me figure out where I was or who was playing it, but I can't believe it's taken me this long to get it. So far the bid is at $8.50. I can deal with that. It still has more than a day left though so who knows what will happen in that time.
I have all of my old game systems packed away in a tote downstairs. One of the systems I have is the Sega Genesis/CD combo which I used to love. My favorite game was Sewer Shark. I still have the game, but for some reason the CD portion of the system is not working. I don't know if we can fix it and I'm sure there is no place around that still works on them. I found the complete system with 8 games, including Sewer Shark, on eBay for $15.00. I am watching that one also, but there are still a few days left and I have a feeling the price is going to spike right at the end. There are already 7 people bidding and I am sure there will be a bidding war in the last few minutes of the auction.

Sorry to hear there's no 'bin' option. So much for the easy way.
I've got my fingers crossed for you. :o)
It may be a bit more costly, but it's worth the price to do 'but it now' if you can. John loves Splatterhouse, so I went on a quest (you can tell I'm a gamer, ha-ha) to find it for him and the Sega Genesis system for xmas. I got really lucky and found a Genesis/CD combo system that works like new for $80.00. It reeked of cigarettes, but I managed to get it cleaned off and aired out in time for the holidays and John loved it.
Sorry, TMI. I do that sometimes.
Anyway, you're right when you say you'll have to fight for it in the end. What you save in aggravation and tension more than makes up for the slight extra cost when using 'buy it now'.
Unless the thrill of the hunt is part of the whole experience for you. In that case, ignore me. :o)
Some time I hate those bidding wars and some times they are a lot of fun. Good luck!
