Cell phone companies suck. I have heard horror stories from so many different people regarding each individual cell phone company out there. I went with Sprint over two years ago. I'm not sure what made me choose Sprint, but I did and for two years I had absolutely no problems. Then Sprint merged with Nextel and now everything has gone to shit. I have been on the phone with them three times (several hours each time/transferred from one person to another/disconnected/etc) over the last few weeks regarding over charges and whatnot. I went to use my phone at break today to call Jeremy and got a recording stating that my service had been interrupted because I either failed to pay my last bill or went over the allowed usage. WTF?
So I just spent an hour and thirty-five minutes on the phone with them - mostly on hold - to figure out what the problem is. I called to dispute internet charges three weeks ago and the manager I spoke to told me he was crediting my acct for all internet charges up until January 14th. Well, he lied. He only gave me a thirty-eight dollar credit, yet I had been wrongly charged for more than one hundred dollars. On top of that they are charging me for 464 minutes over my call plan. Again.. WTF? My average daytime minutes for more than two years has been approximately three hundred minutes, but now.. all of a sudden.. I have used nearly a thousand? I think not!
Well, after much time arguing with the rudest, nastiest woman employed by Sprint I ended up paying the full balance over the phone anyway. I don't have half of my life to waste on the phone and I can't go without my phone so I was stuck. Those fucking cell phone comanies! I despise them.
