Who has the resolution on their monitor set to 800 x 600? Don't proudly raise your hand! It's not something to brag about. Why would you do that? I thought my sister was the last person in the world to make the switch. It took me such a long time to convince her to change it, but now she would never go back. I don't understand the desire to have such a limited field of view.
i'm glad there is you - Jamie Cullum

*gasp*
That talented girl was using 800x600?
Wow.
Hi . . . stopping in for a brief hello!! I'm up for a new MAC. A friend just send me the whole MAC pack . . . In Design, Illustrator, Quark . . . what am I forgetting? I was sooo happy when I received it, and thought of you when I got it . . .(no MAC to currently load it on however). Arika's birthday was yesterday. All is well in the new house. Now if I can just find a different job, I will be set! Hope things are good with you!
Years ago on a smaller monitor that was ok but with the bigger ones you need the larger resolution. I couldn't imagine going back to 800 x 600.
LOL
I didn't know you two were sister! :-)
Ohhhhhh man... I can't even remember when how long it's been since I switched over from that resolution! LOL
1024x768 isn't much better. My PowerBook sits at 1280x854 and wish there was more (especially when the new 15" is at 1440x960). The work computer is at 1280x1024 and I wish for more there as well. Now 1920x1200 or even 2560x1600 sound better. Oh, the glorious Apple HD displays.
Heehee! I know a bunch of older women I work with have their resolutions set higher. Not I though. I need all the space I can get! ;-)
