I keep telling myself that when things slow down at work - meaning my bonus checks aren't as large as they have been - I am going to look into a position at a hospital. That hasn't happened yet. My bonus checks are still in the thousands every month. Obviously that's a terrific thing and I have no reason to complain, but I really want to find a job closer to home and one that is related to the career I am going to school for.

Life is full of hard choices. I am completely burned out at my current job, but I need the large bonus checks every month to put myself through school and to save money for when I get into the nursing program. I also have great benefits with my company that I would hate to give up. I know that I need to stay where I'm at while the "getting is good," but it's hard to resist the "itch" to make some changes in my life.
