My husband and I took the kids to Play Atlantis this past weekend. It's a new place about a mile from our house that has big bouncy houses, video games, pool, darts, air hockey, glow in the dark putt putt and soon there will be laser tag! It's very inexpensive and a nice way to get out of the house with all the kids. They even have Wi-Fi so I can use my iPod Touch while the kids run around.
So we were walking out Sunday evening and noticed a stack of flyers on a table advertising a Mom to Mom sale at the end of August. I grabbed one because I'm very interested in selling all the newborn clothes that Elizabeth is done with (because we're not having any more kids) and any clothing that Gabby has that I'm not really fond of and won't put on Elizabeth as she gets older. I might also sell a few larger items that we aren't using such as the Pack-n-Play since she is now in her crib.
Today I decided to check out the website on the flyer and inquire about getting a table for the sale. The site is for a non-denominational church about 15 minutes from our house. We are Catholic, but I am actually intrigued by this church. Their beliefs are almost identical to Catholic beliefs and it seems like a much younger, more modern church. Is it horrible for a Catholic to want to check out a non-denominational church this Sunday?
