Classes started on Monday and so far it's not too bad. It's only the first week so there aren't too many actual assignments due yet, but I had a couple of discussion board assignments and a few chapters to read for each class and a quiz in one class. I'm done with everything except my Psychology 220 class. I have two chapters to read and an assignment to do before Monday. Not bad. I'll have time to do that. I'd like to try to get ahead on some of the stuff - like maybe the reading for my English class for next week. We'll see how things go at home between now and then. Jeremy has his first on-campus class tonight! All of his classes until this semester have been online.

It's been a very long and exhausting week and now I need to play catch up. I am selling stuff at a Mom 2 Mom sale tomorrow at our church. I have so much to get done today. My husband and I have been going through totes of baby/toddler clothes today and my washing machine and dryer will be working non-stop all day long. It feels strange being at home after being at my mom's all week and the funeral home all day yesterday. The only time I've been at home this past week was to sleep and shower. I feel like I should be going somewhere - other than crazy. =}
Classes start for both me and my husband on Monday. Talk about crazy! We're going to be extremely busy from then on.
Still looking forward to working on my new project for this site..... hopefully sooner than later. Stay tuned....

My brother passed away totally unexpectedly this past Monday. It's been a very long and difficult week - to say the least. Today is going to be the worst - visitation at the funeral home from 1 to 8. Today is the first day I will see my brother dead. I've been so sad all week - teetering between shock and break down, but today is when it will actually become a reality. I can only pray that God will see me through this.

I'm in the process of making some changes here. This blog will no longer be on the main page, but will be located in a /blog directory. I'm very excited about the project I will be working on here and I owe it all to my sister. Stay tuned....

Look what my sister did with her blog? She's bloody brilliant! Now I feel motivated to make some changes here. Maybe my blog won't sit here empty - as it has been for so many months now. And I have the perfect idea....

I miss the good old days when we were slow at work and I actually had time to blog. It's nearly impossible now to find time. And I have next to no time at home because I have a husband and three kids that need my attention so blogging is the last thing on my mind.
Ten days until classes start... then I will REALLY have NO time to do things like this!

OK.. now that I'm back from lunch I have to add an image of the one carrier that I would love to have..
Beco Butterfly II

I am becoming totally addicted to babywearing. I spend every moment at work (that I'm not working) looking on the FSOT (for sale or trade) babywearing board. There are so many beautiful wraps and carriers out there. I could easily spend several hundred dollars if I had the money. I had a Moby Wrap, but wasn't fond of it so I gave it to a girl on the board (because I'm nice like that.. lol) and bought a Maya Wrap Ring Sling. I do like it a lot, but now I want another wrap and I want a Beco Butterfly II carrier also. Check out some babywearing images (these are Google images - neither myself nor anyone I know is pictured)..
Didymos Wrap:

Maya Wrap Ring Sling: (the sling I currently have)

Storchenwiege Lemony Inka (love this one!)

There are so many more, but it's time for lunch =)

Elizabeth is 5 months old today. Wow! It's incredible how fast they grow up. She's already trying to get her knees up under her so I imagine she will be crawling before we know it. I will post some new pictures here as soon as I have the chance. For now.. check out this beautiful drawing that a brilliant friend did for me. It is from the day of Elizabeth's baptism - May 3rd 2009

My husband and I took the kids to Play Atlantis this past weekend. It's a new place about a mile from our house that has big bouncy houses, video games, pool, darts, air hockey, glow in the dark putt putt and soon there will be laser tag! It's very inexpensive and a nice way to get out of the house with all the kids. They even have Wi-Fi so I can use my iPod Touch while the kids run around.
So we were walking out Sunday evening and noticed a stack of flyers on a table advertising a Mom to Mom sale at the end of August. I grabbed one because I'm very interested in selling all the newborn clothes that Elizabeth is done with (because we're not having any more kids) and any clothing that Gabby has that I'm not really fond of and won't put on Elizabeth as she gets older. I might also sell a few larger items that we aren't using such as the Pack-n-Play since she is now in her crib.
Today I decided to check out the website on the flyer and inquire about getting a table for the sale. The site is for a non-denominational church about 15 minutes from our house. We are Catholic, but I am actually intrigued by this church. Their beliefs are almost identical to Catholic beliefs and it seems like a much younger, more modern church. Is it horrible for a Catholic to want to check out a non-denominational church this Sunday?

I have realized that between Facebook and Twitter, I don't blog as much as I once did. It's sad, really. I don't want my blog to just sit here empty. I'm going to try and post here more often. Unfortunately, with school starting in 3 weeks, I am afraid that it will actually be less. Perhaps once I become acclimated to all of my new tasks I will be able to spend more time here. Time will tell.
