So, I just got back to my team yesterday and I am already filling out an interest form for our sales department. I feel horrible doing it because I feel like I might as well go up to my supervisor and tell her I don't want to be on her team, but that just isn't the case. I love my team and the people on it, but I'm not all that happy in customer service. There's not a lot of potential for bonus money where there is a huge amount in the sales department. Who can't use more money? Besides, the people that call for "service" are calling because they got a bill they don't agree with or a rate increase or something else that has them pissed off and wanting to yell at someone. I'm tired of having to kiss the asses of these angry people. I want a new, rewarding challenge. I am an insurance agent and I should be selling insurance, not fixing things that someone else screwed up or explaining why someone's insurance went up when they got a DUI. Uh, it's pretty self-explanatory.
