I had a candle party a week ago at my house. It was a lot of fun, but with me cooking and all the candles burning it heated up pretty quick in my house. I really didn't want to turn my air conditioning on just yet because I'm not really fond of freezing cold air blowing all over me and my kids. I would much rather open all the window when I can and get some fresh air circulating through the house. Well, we did open all the windows that evening, but there wasn't much of a breeze outside so it didn't do much good.
My mother said that I should get a ceiling fan for my kitchen/dining room area to help circulate the air in my house and therefore eliminating the need to use the air conditioning so much during the summer months. Ceiling fans are definitely the way to go, although I was afraid that it would take up too much room and make that part of the house look smaller. I do agree though that it would be nice to have one so I can just open up the house and get fresh air flowing through.
I started surfing the internet today after getting to work to see what is out there. Low and behold, a Minka Ceiling Fan caught my eye. I think we'll be purchasing one this weekend and my husband can install it while I'm at work on Saturday. Guess what else I found while looking - Outdoor Ceiling Fans. What would one need with an outdoor ceiling fan? Do you know? I wouldn't have anywhere to put it. I'd be interested to find out who has these and if they like them. Maybe it's for a screened-in patio? Someone let me know, please.
