Thirteen things I hate and/or love about the holiday season
01. I hate the stress of it all
02. I hate shopping with all of the other frantic people
03. I hate spending the extra money
04. I hate worrying about what I'm going to buy for each person
05. I hate how cranky everyone is because of the stress
06. I love spending time with my family
07. I love seeing all the lights and decorations everywhere
08. I love how happy everyone is - after the stress is gone
09. I love hearing Christmas songs and being nostalgic
10. I love going to Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve
11. I love waiting for the kids to go to sleep so I can play Santa
12. I love watching my family open the presents I got them
13. Overall, I love the holiday season more than I hate it.

Christmas spirit is delightful when it is genuine.
I love it that you balanced off the bad with the good. I think if you just think about the good things, the bad ones are a letdown and if you fixate on the bad, you can't enjoy the good.
That's a shame about your google page rank; I hear that from a lot of people. I don't know what they expect to gain from doing that. It's like they want to punish people who make a living from blogging...which seems sort of self-defeating.
I could have wrote most of this list myself.
Mine is up.
Good list and oh so true. I, too, wish it weren't so stressful but am looking forward to it ... again!
