I have jury duty in a few weeks and I have to go this time. I was supposed to go a year ago, but requested they postpone it because I had just had my daughter at that time. I've never gone in for jury duty before, but I've heard enough from other people to know that it isn't a pleasant experience. I have to take my summons into work tomorrow to request the time off. I have no idea how this works. I'm assuming I'm not going to get paid while I'm "on duty" which is really going to suck right before Christmas. Oh, well.. there's not a thing I can do about it so there's no point in whining about it.
