JcPenney sucks

We took Gabrielle for her 1 year pictures today and it was the most horrible experience. I was looking forward to it because her 6 month pictures were so wonderful. We were a little irritated because they are always running late, but once we got in the room it all flowed and we got the best pictures. Well, not this time around. The photographer was horrible and Gabby hated her, the sales girl kept coming in and interrupting because she has a customer complaining and the pictures were horrible. When we were looking at them on the screen to pick out a package I said something about not liking any of them. The sales girl (the one that came in and interrupted several times) asked me what the problem was - with a really snotty tone. My mother-in-law chimed in and said they might have come out better if we hadn't been interrupted repeatedly during our session and the girl said, "well I am sorry I had to come in and ask a few questions because we were having a problem with a customer." We could all tell she wasn't sorry and I wanted to smack her for talking to us that way. We chose one pose, ordered a few pictures and got the hell out of there. I will never go back to JcPenney for pictures again. Never. I'd rather pay a huge amount of money and go to Olan Mills where they act like professionals and deliver a great product.

i would definitely write a letter and explain the whole thing in as much detail as possible. Once i wrote a letter to Mars Corporation when i was about 14 saying that their M&Ms actually did melt in my hands, and they sent me a free package of the candy and apologized. hey that would make a great post....key key called it!!!

I'd be calling the manager and complaining for sure!

I'd take pictures of your baby for free. :) Too bad I live on the other side of the world. I could use the experience.

I'd like to say I would have just walked out, but I'm too big of a pushover for that.

I hate when people act as if doing their job properly is too much of a hassle.

You know I'm a professional photographer? Si? No?

I'll be in MI in December and I have time to do something if you'd like. If you're interested we can talk more, because I'm addicted to photographing kids like I am to blogging about pointless topics. ;)
