The decorations I ordered for Gabrielle's birthday should be arriving today. I'm so excited. I am going to start sending out the invitations this week. It may seem silly to some people that I am as excited about this as I am, but it's my little girl's first birthday!
I need to remember to get in touch with our cake lady. She hasn't called me back yet and I want to get the order in. I don't know why she wouldn't have called me back. Maybe she was on vacation. I remember the last time I called for another birthday cake she was having problems with her phone, but I think that was in February so I can't imagine she's still having problems. Oh, well.. I will call her at work tomorrow morning and hopefully get in touch with her.

Is she getting her own cake? when my grandsons turned one my daughter had a big cake for everyone complete with candles and all. The she had a little cake that she just set on their high chair and let them have it. it was fun to watch and the they had a ball.
