not a good night

I don't know why I have such a problem falling asleep at night. As soon as my head hits the pillow my mind starts racing. Most of the time I just think of trivial stuff too. I could understand it if I had a lot of important things to think about, but this is just ridiculous. Tonight has been the worst. I have been laying in bed for two hours now and I'm still awake! This is not a good night for this crap either. I have to be up in three hours to drive my sister and brother-in-law to the airport.

I can totally relate to not sleeping well. That happens SO often with me!

Sometimes, I will take a sleep aid, if I feel early on in the night that I am not going to sleep well.

I am sure that blogging helps... but have you thought about journaling too? Just to vent your thoughts & maybe you will sleep?

Get some rest! Take care!

I think that's just a mom thing. I still get that and it does seem as if a lot of the stuff that's keeping me awake (along with worrying about their autism), is just trivial, menial or plain stupid.

It could also have soemthing to do with us getting used to getting up several times a night with the babies; something kicks in that says, 'if you sleep you may miss it if the baby cries.'

They own us. Even when they're not calling an order in. :o)

I'm sorry you guys are all feeling icky. We've caught something here too. I hope you all feel better soon!!

P.S. -My children and myself have gotten hoarse from sinus infections lots of times. Maybe your little guy is getting one?
