a thing of the past

I'm beginning to notice a pattern here. The further along in this pregnancy, the less sleep I get each night. Every time I roll from one side to the other during the night, I wake up and look at the clock. And it seems like the baby is awake too - kicking or stretching or has the hiccups. I swear this baby never sleeps. She is so active all day and all night. So.. anyway, then Jeremy's alarm went off at 4am and I have been awake ever since. I tried to lay back down at about twenty minutes past five, but after thirty minutes of trying to fall asleep I realized that I was hungry. So, I just finished a bowl of cereal and would like to go back to sleep until Evan wakes up, but it's not looking too promising. I am AWAKE and, of course, so is the baby. I think sleeping through the night has become a thing of the past.
