Evan is making his first communion this morning. I am so excited for him. This is such a special day. I will definitely have to post a picture or two of him wearing his suit.

Silent Hill was absolutely brilliant! They couldn't have done a better job. Jeremy and I were both extremely impressed with how well it portrayed the game. I love being pleasantly surprised.

Jeremy and I are finally going to the movie theater to see Silent Hill this afternoon. I can't wait to see it. I hope it's as good as I want it to be. I'll let you know.

Oh, and... I want to wish my sister a very happy birthday today!!! I hope you have a fantastic day, sis.

I hate the end of the month. Not only do I have to work my regular late night on Tuesday, but I also have to work a late night tonight - because it's the last Friday of the month. It's ridiculous. Then I have to get up early tomorrow to work half the day because it's the last Saturday of the month. Blah.

This Sunday there will be a new Grey's Anatomy episode - finally. How many weeks has it been? Too many! I'm looking forward to watching it again.

I have, however, found another show that Jeremy and I are both hooked on. It's called What About Brian and it's on Monday nights. The next episode will be the 4th of the season.

Also, we were at the video store the other day and picked up the first season of Huff on dvd. I hadn't heard of it before, but took a chance because I like some of the actors/actresses in it. It's turned out to be pretty good.

Have I mentioned lately how wonderful Jeremy is? Probably not. At least not here. He is so wonderful! He does so much all the time - cleans, cooks, laundry, gets Evan to school in the morning, runs out and gets me whatever I might be craving at that moment. He takes such good care of me and the kids. I am the luckiest woman in the world.

Oh my gosh!! I just saw the new skin that Mel designed for this site. It's the best yet! I can't wait until it's installed. You will all have to let me know what you think once it's here.

Well, I didn't get a chance to post pictures from our vacation yet, but today is the day I have chosen to share my "news." Most people that know me personally already know, but for those of you who only know me through this site here it is...

Jeremy and I are engaged! Also.. we are 12 weeks pregnant! The baby is due on November 8th. Of course we are hoping for a girl, but we won't know until the 20 week ultrasound. I've had two ultrasounds in the last month - which isn't the normal practice, but there are reasons. The first I had done at 8 weeks to make sure that the due date was accurate because I have a tipped uterus and it's difficult (in the beginning) to tell with a regular exam. The second I had this afternoon because the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat with a regular doppler -- also because of my tipped uterus. Anyway... we are very excited!

Well, our vacation is over, but it was a fantastic week!! The plane ride there was a little like I expected. Evan was very nervous and sick to his stomach for the first 45 minutes. I was so nervous for him that I made myself sick too. Everything was OK once we got up in the air and leveled off though.

We did so much in the few days we were down there. We went to several different beaches, fished off the shore of one of them, went to different shops in Venice, went out to eat at a lot of different restaurants, went swimming in the pool at my parents place a few times. It was so much fun! Oh, and my dad taught Evan to fish (cast) with an open-face reel and within minutes he was casting like a pro. He cast that line into the pond behind my parents condo for at least two hours - very patiently - and it paid off! He caught a 4 lb big mouth bass all by himself!!! Jamie caught a shark off the shore of one of the beaches. It was a small one (approximately 20 inches), but he had fun doing it.

Jeremy, Jamie, Evan and I are leaving for Florida tomorrow. We're so excited! I've been to Florida many times, but never to Venice - where my parents condo is. The boys have never flown before. I'm nervous for Evan. I'm hoping he doesn't get scared. Well, anyway... we'll be back Friday. Hopefully I will have the motivation to post some photos.

Jeremy and I just came home from a parent/teacher conference with Evan's teacher. He is doing so much better since the doctor put him on Strattera! His grades have all gone up - some of them quite significantly - and his teachers have noticed a huge improvement in his behavior and attitude. We are so proud of him and happy that this treatment is helping him.

In approximately two weeks this site will have a fresh new look - thanks to Mel, the most brilliant web designer I know. I am so excited to see what she will do with this latest skin!

I'm going to have to do another search for some new desktops, but in the meantime.. here's one I haven't used before.

My sister emailed me the other day and asked if I was ever going to blog again. I realize it's been quite some time since I've written anything of any interest here, but I've had a lot going on. Jeremy and I are in the middle of trying to buy a house - which means that we've gone to the mortgage rep and are in the process of being pre-approved. We found the house that we want, but who knows if it will still be available when all is said and done. Anyway.. there's a lot of BIG news to share, but I'm not really sure that I want to publish it here yet. Soon.
