It's been a very long, exhausting week for this family. My dad's best friend, who we were all very close to, passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of 52. It was unexpected and heartbreaking. I still can't believe it really happened.

Jeremy and I have been talking about going to school for Mortuary Science. At first we talked about him going, but the more we have talked about it, the more I am thinking about doing it too. I know that to most people it seems like a creepy thing, but I don't feel that way and neither does Jeremy. There are so many benefits to doing it together. We will be able to help each other get through school. And, the good thing is that the classes I've already taken will not be wasted because they are required for the M.S. program also. There are a total of 68 credit hours required for pre-requisites before you go into the Mortuary Science program at Wayne State University. So, Jeremy is going to join me over at WCCCD during the summer semester and we will go from there.

Oh, and... in case you're wondering... no, I haven't told my parents yet. I don't imagine it will be a problem, but my mother is so excited about me getting into the nursing program. I'll discuss it with them when we get a little further into it.
