Jeremy and I rented an Xbox 360 and a handful of games from our favorite video store yesterday. I'm completely addicted to Condemned. I can't wait until we purchase our very own Xbox 360. We decided to wait until after Christmas though. I guess we will just have to be patient - and continue renting the system for now.

Jeremy and I took the boys to his mom's house today for Thanksgiving dinner. I was a little nervous at first, but it went pretty well. I was fairly comfortable after his mom gave me a hug when I walked in the door and I think everyone had a good time. I am so happy that things are better now and we can move forward. I truly do love his family and I am grateful to have them in my life. Oh, and dinner was fabulous.

Meet Brutus. I found him on the internet while surfing for English Bulldogs. Jeremy and I are going to buy one after we move into our house next year. Isn't he gorgeous?

And check out Brutus' offspring! Isn't she the sweetest thing you've ever seen?

There is a sufficient amount of snow on the ground which means that dreadful season is here. Blah. Winter sucks. I hate cold weather. I despise snow. Why do I live in Michigan again? I have no idea.
Despite the white stuff and the fact that it's only twenty degrees outside, I have had a fairly good day. I got off work at one-thirty this afternoon. That's always a good thing. Sure, I have to work twelve hours on Friday to make up for it, but it's been worth it.

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. I have so much to be thankful for - a wonderful family, beautiful children, the love of my life, a great job, school, and so much more.
I am also grateful that I've been given the opportunity to "start over" with Jeremy's family. His mom invited me to her house for Thanksgiving this year. I couldn't stop smiling when Jeremy told me. I have always loved his family. I am not sure how things got so screwed up along the way, but I am happy that we are able to put that behind us and move forward with love in our hearts. I am going to spend the rest of my life with Jeremy and it's nice to know that I can share that love with his family.

I cannot wait until this semester is over. Biology is not a class to be taken online. There is far too much information to comprehend. I have been reading for the past several hours and even though I understand most of what I have read, details have been lost. That isn't the statement I want to be making the day before my third exam.

I don't update as frequently as I once did. That's a good thing, actually. It means that my life doesn't consist of sitting in front of my computer anymore. I'm actually living it.
Yesterday I got off work at noon and spent the remainder of my day with Jeremy. We went to the mall to indulge in a little window shopping, had lunch, picked Evan up from school and took him to his doctors appointment. After leaving the doctors office the three of us went to my campus since it was the first day of early registration. I'm all signed up for next semester - Microbiology and American Government. Let the good times roll.
Today I worked from eight this morning until eight-thirty this evening. Holy shit, was this ever a long day. It's worth it though. I don't have to work on Thursday. Jeremy came up to spend my lunch hour with me which made the day go by a little faster than it normally would have. Oh, and he has an interview tomorrow with an extremely good company. Please cross your fingers for him.

I've said it many times before and I'm going to say it again - I love Sundays. Here's a list of things that make today a great day.
1. Jeremy and I got to sleep in.
2. Neither of us were obligated to do anything today.
3. I went out for a late breakfast with Jeremy and the boys.
4. We all went to Meijer after breakfast and bought groceries and other odds and ends. I love to wander around Meijer on a Sunday.
5. I got the house cleaned up a bit.
6. Jeremy and Jamie are spending quality time together playing a video game that we purchased yesterday.
7. I will soon be downstairs spending quality time with them.
8. My show is on tonight.
9. The day will end with my arms wrapped around the man I love.

Have I mentioned how much I love my boyfriend? I love him more than I am able to express with mere words. Have I mentioned how happy I am these days? I'm ecstatic! Do you know why? Because I am fortunate enough to spend the rest of my life with the man I love.
There is a song that I have been listening to recently that reminds me of my relationship with Jeremy. The song is called "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service. Here are the lyrics to the first verse. Every time I hear them I smile and think about how perfect we are together.
I am thinking it's a sign
that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images
and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate
that God himself did make
us into corresponding shapes
like puzzle pieces from the clay.
Yep, that's us alright.

My company has put a new schedule into effect for any collector that hits their goal every month. Since I am one of those collectors, I have been given a new freedom. I can work whatever hours I want, come and go as I please, as long as I have my hours worked by the end of the week. I have to admit.. it's pretty cool. I left work at noon on Monday and at one today. Of course I had to work from nine-thirty yesterday morning until eight-thirty last night and I will have to work from eight until six on Friday, but that's not a big deal. I've had two half days this week to do whatever I want. Since Jeremy and I don't work the same hours or have the same days off we can now spend part of his days off together. I'm loving it.

I just completed Jeremy's resume. It's been a long time since I've written a resume, but I did a pretty darn good job at highlighting his desirable skills and qualities. He loves his current job and has taken on increasing responsibility in management, but he is looking to make more money (especially since we are purchasing a house next year) and a position with more stability. The company where he is currently employed is talking about closing his store at the beginning of the year. That's not a good thing. So cross your fingers for him, please.

Three hours and thirty-seven minutes until Grey's Anatomy is on. Why do I get so excited about something so silly? Because the show kicks ass, that's why! I love Sundays.
Oh, and.. speaking of anatomy.. I found out yesterday during Sociology class that Anatomy & Physiology I is available for online students now. The only problem is that the labs for next semester are held on Friday mornings. I'm not ready to change my position at work to part-time status just yet so I will be taking Microbiology next semester along with either my second English class or American Government. I'm still not sure why Government is a pre-requisite for the nursing program, but who am I to argue? I was also informed that labs for Micro are on Saturdays from eight-thirty in the morning until four-thirty in the afternoon. Yikes. Yeah, so I will probably take Micro and AG - that seems like the best combination.
I am in love with my new skin! If you are still seeing Elvis, please hit refresh or go to the sidebar and change the skin to Clive. Mel is a completely awesome girl with loads of talent. You should check out her site if you are looking for an extraordinary web designer.
So much for taking my computer in today. Jeremy and I slept until ten and have spent the rest of the morning/afternoon watching Smallville in our pajamas. It's definitely been a very lazy Sunday for this family. I like it that way. Sometimes you just need a day of rest.

Have I ever mentioned how much I adore Brittany Murphy? I think she is "the shit." Check out my latest desktop.

Well, I just got off the phone with Apple Care regarding my completely screwed up laptop and it turns out that I need to take it to the Apple store and have it sent out for repair. Lovely. So Jeremy and I will be dropping off my "baby" tomorrow morning and it will be gone for about a week. How can I live without my laptop for an entire week? I am going to go through withdrawals! Not that I don't have a G4 desktop, but it's not the same. Oh, well. Hopefully it will come back to me in perfect working condition - as a six month old Powerbook G4 should be. It's a good thing I purchased the three year protection plan, eh?

Jeremy is taking me out tonight for dinner and a movie. How great is he? Pretty wonderful, I must admit. I love my boyfriend.

In honor of my pathetic new addiction to Smallville I decided to change my desktop. Oh, what a lovely image it is.

Mel has completed the design for my new skin. It's only a matter of time before it will be installed here. I am so excited! It's a wonderfully unique layout centered around the hottest actor in theaters today. Can you guess who that might be?
Jeremy has gotten me hooked on Smallville. I caught a few episodes of the first season (on dvd) months ago when he and Jamie were watching it, but I didn't get sucked in like I have this time. We watched season two over the last couple of days and raced back to the video store to rent season three. We're two episodes into it and I can hardly wait until he gets home from work to start the third.

I received an email from my favorite designer yesterday. She is going to be working on the new skin for this site. I am so excited! I can't wait to see what it will look like. I am adding "skinning" to my site also so I won't lose the current skin - which will also enable me to add another skin in the spring time. Yes, I already have several skins in mind for the future. And yes, I am fully aware of how dorky I really am.

My wonderful Mac is completely fucked up and I have no idea why. After watching Grey's Anatomy on Sunday night I woke my laptop from sleep and it was as if I just purchased it. There is nothing on it. My iTunes library - all 9000 tracks - was completely wiped out. Safari refuses to open. All documents, photos, files and the likes are gone. Can someone tell me what the fuck happened? Jeremy's computer did the same thing after we firewired my iTunes library to his computer. Oh, and we both have about 20 gigs less memory on our hard drives than we did before the "crash." Does anyone know what the problem is before I call Apple Care this weekend?
